Services for Wendell DeSean Cohee, 23, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, 225 1st Ave. SW, with the Rev. Willie J. Tiller, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Cobb Funeral Home, Springer.

Born on Oct. 19, 1983, in Ardmore, Okla., to Wendell Charles Cohee and Ann Davis Cohee, he died on Tuesday, April 24, 2007.

DeSean graduated from Ardmore High School in 2002 and attended the University of Oklahoma on a track scholarship. He later enrolled at the University of Central Oklahoma. He was employed by the family owned business, Kustoms Detail.

He leaves to forever cherish his memory, his beloved son, JeSean Cohee; his parents, Wendell and Ann Cohee, of the home; sisters, Monica (Sean) Tate, Edmond, and Keisha Cohee, Tipton; brothers, Darrius (Stephanie) Cohee, Dallas, David Standifor, Tipton, Marcellus Smith, Tulsa, Oliver Craig Gaines and Gregory Gaines, Ardmore; grandmothers, Roberta Davis, Theotrice Pickens, Vera Cohee, and grandfather, R. C. Cohee, all of Ardmore; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.

Bearers will be the class of 2002. Honorary bearers are men of First Baptist.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 this evening at First Baptist Church, 16 E St. NE.

Howard-Harris Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, will direct services.
