Frederick Francis Bayles, 91, of Ellensburg passed away Friday, April 15, 1994 at his home. He was born February 21, 1903 in Denver, Colorado, a son of Frederick and Mary (Hill) Bayles.
Mr. Bayles is retired from the U. S. Army. He served as an engineer and was stationed in Burma during World War II. He was active with the old style cavalry. After the war, he served in Munich, Germany.
He was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. He enjoyed gardening until health problems developed. He was noted for his generosity and keen sense of humor.
He is survived by his daughters and their husbands, Donna and Ted Ullman of Ellensburg, Mary Ann and Forrest Brinkerhoff of California; sons and their wives, Robert and Sheryl Bayles of Ellensburg, William and Diane Bayles of Mentor, Ohio and George Bayles of Texas; sister, Catherine White of Cincinnati, Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother George and sister Edith.
