OBIT:

Lenore C. Allemand, 62, of Kittitas, died Saturday morning at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1919, in White Fish, Mont. She and Joe Allemand were married in Wenatchee in 1936 and came to Ellensburg from Yakima in 1944 and moved to Kittitas seven years ago. She was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle.

In addition to her husband, Joe, she is survived by seven sons, Joe and Ronnie of Ellensburg, and James, Vernon, Rex, Edward and Randy, all of Kittitas; six daughters, Maxine VonEssen, Joan Wind, Mary Barnhart and Gayetta Hink, all of Kittitas, Patsy Ogg of Ellensburg, and Alice McDonald of Spokane; 52 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; six brothers, John and Ted Dorey of Wenatchee, Joe and Harry Dorey, Yakima, Dallas Dorey of Medford, Ore., and Wayne Dorey of Shelton; three sisters, Nellie and Lucille VanList, both of Wenatchee, and Margaret Hartman of Kittitas.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Evenson Chapel with the Rev. John Gaub officiating. Burial will follow at High Valley Cemetery.
