Harold Lloyd Cox, 72, of Greensboro died Sunday, Dec. 7, 1997, at Wesley Long Hospital.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10, 1997 in Groometown United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Morton officiating.

Mr. Cox served with the NC Department of Labor which subsequently became the US Department of Labor, Wage and Hour Division for over 25 years. Upon retirement, he continued as a wage and hour consultant. He was a World War II veteran serving in Europe in the 70th Infantry Division. Mr. Cox was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are wife, Jacqueline Harris Cox of the home; son, Charles Christopher Cox and wife, Wanda of High Point; daughter, Katherine Cox Osborne and husband, Glenn of Pleasant Garden; grandson, Christopher Wrenn Cox, a student at James Madison University.

The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. tonight at Forbis & Dick Guilford Chapel.
