Muriel Abbs passed away after a brief illness at the Norfolk General Hospital, on Saturday February 23, 2008, at the age of 76.
Predeceased by her first husband Gordon Wilson (1972), and George Abbs (1999), and her daughter Clara (1974). Loving Mother of Alma Hooftman (Bert). Proud Grandmother to Lisa VanBelleghem (Franco) and Mark Hooftman (Tammy). Proud Great Grandmother to Bethany and Parker VanBelleghem. Survived by her brothers Gordon (Tillie) and Delmer Boles, sister in law Doreen Wilson and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the family home, 17 Glendale Ave., Delhi, on Tuesday from 2 – 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. at St. Albans Anglican Church until the time of service at 11 o'clock. Interment: Delhi Cemetery. If desired, remembrances may be made to St. Albans Church, Delhi Cemetery or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
