GALLUP — Services for Eddie Arviso, 55, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 19 at the Fellowship Church, Gallup. Ray Benally will officiate. Burial will be held on family land in Manuelito Canyon.

Arviso died June 14 in Gallup. He was born September 8, 1948 in Fort Defiance.

Survivors include his wife, Victoria Velardez-Arviso of Santa Ana, Calif.; mother, Dorothy Anderson of Gallup; daughters, Arlene Arviso, Christine Arviso both of Santa Ana; son, Eddie Arviso Jr. of Gallup; sisters, Caroline "Diane" Anderson, Mary Anderson, Susie Anderson, Shirley Paradise all of Gallup; brothers, Edward "Bobo" Anderson Jr., J.W. Anderson, William "Peewee" Anderson all of Gallup, Tommy Arviso of Rialto, Calif.; six grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Arviso was preceded in death by his father, Ned Arviso; sister, Rosemary "Babe" Chino; and stepfather Edward Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Jay Anderson, Eddie Arviso Jr., Tommy Arviso, Toochie Baca, Danny Garcia and Carl Mayes.
