A funeral was held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at Stoney Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Gates, N.C.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to William N. Bland & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg, VA and Reynolds Funeral Home, 321 N. Maple St., Ahoskie, NC.
