Attended Funeral
EAST ALTON - Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Allen and son, Ronald, Clarence Allen and daughters, Betty Jean and Mrs. Willis Hardwick, Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Maberry, Mrs. Pearl Anthony and Mrs. Raymond Anthony and son, Bobby, attended funeral rites for Mrs. Nancy Ella Allen of Modesto, held Tuesday afternoon at the Stults funeral home in Palmyra. Mrs. Allen, mother of Elmer and Clarence Allen, died Sunday after a few days' illness of pneumonia. She was 81 years old. In addition to the sons living here she leaves her husband, Henry Allen, five sons and 2 daughters. Burial was in the Manchester cemetery.
