Thirty-seven-year-old Mrs. Hazel Mary Bach was killed in the crash of Bristol 170 Freighter 31M (#9697) aircraft as it approached the Marville aerodrome at 1 (F) Wing, Marville, France, on 30 Dec 1963. Her husband, Sergeant P. A. G. Bach, CD, and her six-year-old son, Douglas George Bach, also died in the accident.
