Aubrey Wise Baker, 61, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at McLeod Medical Center in Dillon.

Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Bethesda Southern Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until Sunday at the church.

Born in Richmond, VA, December 7, 1952, he was the son of the late Leonard Preston Baker, Sr. and Miriam Kate-Jane Wise Baker. He was a 1971 Latta High School graduate, and was honorably discharged in 1974 from the U.S. Army, and was a former employee of Dixiana Mill. He was a member of Bethesda Southern Methodist Church.

Survivors include his brothers, Christopher (Linda) Baker, Norman Baker, and Francis (Hazel) Baker, all of Latta; 2 twin nephews, Leonard Preston Baker, III, and Aubrey William Baker; nieces, Deborah Denise Baker, and Angel Baker Barnes; special friends, Kathy Brigman Cassidy, and Mr. Bill & Ann Foster.

Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Leonard Preston Baker, Jr. "Bootsie"; paternal grandparents, Mr. Neil W. & Bessie Weatherford Wise; and his maternal grandparents, Paul F. & Mary Freidolph Baker.
