Anita Jane Hauk, 79, of Cameron, died Thursday, June 18, 2015, in a Temple hospital. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2015, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery.

Anita Jane, a retired first grade teacher, was born in Rosebud, Texas, to the late Frank and Lillian (Kirkpatrick) Ocker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Walter "VW" Hauk; a daughter; and several siblings.

Survivors include her sons, Larry Hauk and wife, Joyce, of Copperas Cove, and Donald Hauk and wife, Linda, of Cameron;
daughters, Marilyn Hauk, of Downey, California, and Polly Hauk, of Cameron; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; other relatives and many friends.
