David Lee Adams, 47, of Greensburg, Hempfield Township, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, June 17, 2012. He was born Feb. 12, 1965, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Donald and Wilma Maurer Adams. He was presently employed by Westinghouse as a project manager. Previously, David served six years in the Navy and honorably retired as a major after 14 years with the Air Force. David is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Ginny Swab Adams; two daughters, Kaitlyn and Katerina; two sisters, Ruth Fiscus (Peter), of Murrysville, Donna Spear (David), of Johnstown; and also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at BASH-NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dustin Bingham of Cornerstone Ministries presiding. Interment services will follow at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville with full military honors.
