She was a daughter of the late James Edward and Nettie Lndes Rankin, and was born Aug. 6, 1880, near WEyers Cave, where she spent her early life. She and her family spent nearly 25 years in Washington, D. C.
Mrs. Craig suffered a stroke a number of years ago, and became an invalid about six years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Arlene Craig Rogers of Arlington and Mrs. F. E. (Elizabeth) Wright of Westgate, Md.; one son, M. E. R. Craig of Silver Springs, Md.; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Martha Craig of Hattysville, Md.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. C. W. (Irene) Fretwell of New Hope, Mrs. L. W. (Edith) Drumheller of Waynesboro, Mrs. C. H. (Lillie) Strader of Richmond and Mrs. O. C. (Sue) Wise of Harrisonburg. Mrs. Craig was preceded in death by her husband last July, and one son, Wyatt Craig in May 1955.
Funeral services will be held at the Methodist Church in Weyers Cave, Friday at two p.m., conducted by her Pastor, the Rev. L. D. Stables and the Rev. James A. Allison, Jr.
THe body will rest at the L. M. Koontz Funeral HOme in Weyers Cave until the hour of the services.
Pallbearers will be nephews of the deceased: James C. Drumheller, Charles Fretwell, Jack Rankin, Harry Rankin, Ward E. Rankin, Russell Rankin, Robert Rankin, Claude Rankin.
Relatives and pallbearers are requested to meet at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial will be at WEyers Cave Cemetery.
