Olga Anderson, 91, of Custer, SD formerly of Brookings, SD died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Custer Regional Senior Care, Custer, SD. Funeral Services have been set for 10:00am Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Community Lutheran Church, Hill City, SD. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday January 21, 2013 at Kirk Funeral Home, Rapid City, SD.

Another service will follow at Rude's Funeral Home in Brookings, SD. Rude's Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Funeral Services have been set for 10:00am Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Rude's Funeral Home, Brookings, SD. Burial will follow at Midway Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of services.

Olga Wold was born August 30, 1921 in Ada County, MN, the daughter of Ellef and Gunhild (Isakson) Wold. She spent her early years and received her education in White, SD. She was a graduate of While High School in 1940.

Olga was united in marriage to Arthur N. Anderson on June 6, 1944 in Dyersburg, TN. After their marriage they lived in various cities throughout South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, North Dakota and Missouri until retiring to Brookings in 1976. Arthur died on December 8, 1980 in Brookings, SD. Olga continued to make Brookings her home until moving to Custer Regional Senior Care in 2011.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Brookings, and the Ladies Aid at First Lutheran.
She especially enjoyed reading.

Olga is survived by three sons, James Anderson of Custer, SD, Glen Anderson and his wife, Elaine of Hot Springs, SD and Paul Anderson of Anchorage, AK; daughter-in-law Sue Anderson of Hill City, SD; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, one brother, James Wold of Kansas City, KS; and many nieces and nephews.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Art, two brothers, Justin and John and five sisters, Bessie, Inez, Jeanette, Solveig, and Mabelle.
