LACON - Barbara J. Becker, age 64, of 317 Park St., Lacon, died at 2:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2007, at her home.
She was born May 10, 1943, in Peoria to William and Claribel (Carrithers) Kluever. She married John M. "Mike" Becker on Nov. 24, 1962, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1997.
She is survived by her mother, Claribel Kluever of East Peoria; one son, John Becker of Lacon; one daughter, Crystal Becker, also of Lacon; one brother, Kenneth (and Lynn) Kluever of Crossett, Ark.; two sisters, Patricia Kluever of East Peoria and Cheryl (and Gary) Williams, also of East Peoria; and three grandchildren, Zachary Becker and Alana O'Hare, both of Lacon, and Jacob Kincaid of Mossville. Also surviving is her stepmother-in-law, Bertha Becker of Henry.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Kluever.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17, at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon, with Fr. Harold Schmitt officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior, also at Lenz Memorial Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Midwest affiliate. Interment will be in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery.
