Mrs. Cynthia Balsley, of Sherando, passed peacefully away Monday morning about 8 o'clock. She had been in very poor health for several years. On Friday, April the 4th, she became very ill, and no doubt death came to her as a relief. She had reached the age of 66 years. Of her immediate family, she is survived by one brother, Mr. J. W. Miller, of near Afton. The funeral and interment took place from Sherando Methodist Church, Tuesday A.M. at 11 o'clock. Etter Bros, of Waynesboro, had charge of the funeral arrangements.
