Mrs. Ella Lee Crosley, 89
Ella Lee Crosley was born south of Mason City, Nebraska in the Basin community south of town, on September 22, 1885, and she died on Thursday, September 11, 1975 at the Jannie Melham Memorial Hospital medical center in Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska, at the age of 89 years, 11 months and 20 days. She was the daughter of Bronson and Sarah Esby [sic] Lee.
She was confirmed at an early age south of Mason City at the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She was united in marriage on September 7, 1904 to Newton Crosley, with whom she spent 62 years of married life. Three children were born to this union.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, by her brother, Oscar Lee, her sister, Mrs. Kearnel (Sena) Lund, and by her son Harley Crosley.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Mrs. Jack (Evelyn) Trotter of Blanchester, Ohio and Mrs. Ted (Iva) Price of Broken Bow, Nebraska, by 3 grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and by her sister, Mrs. Albert (Mabel) Lund of Yakima, Washington, and by nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Crosley were held in Broken Bow, Nebraska on Monday afternoon, September 15, 1975 in the Govier Bros. Mortuary Chapel at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the rural Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery south of Mason City, rural Custer County, Nebraska. Miss Twila Morgan was soloist, and Mrs. Vella Bellinger served as the organist. Rev. Denison D. Conner of the Baptist Churches of Ansley and Mason City, Nebraska officiated.
Pallbearers were Ott Axman, Dewey and Eldon Lee, Dale Schall, Harold Arp and Donald Bauer
