Lawrence A. Blystone, 83, Kittanning RD 1, died Friday, July 13, 1973, in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning. Born April 11, 1890, in Armstrong County, he was the son of Presley and Elizabeth Parr Blystone. He was a retired employee of the Apollo Gas Company.
Surviving are his widow, Agnes Shuster Blystone; a son, Robert, Kittanning RD 1; four grandchildren and a sister, Grace Uplinger, Shelocta. He was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the Clark Funeral Home in Elderton where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. W. E. Shaffer will officiate and interment will be in the Whitesburg Cemetery.
