Pearl Kaplon Sigler Bofinger, 85, of Cowanshannock Township died Saturday (Aug. 30, 2003) at her home.
She was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Apollo.
A beautician, she owned and operated Bofinger's Beauty Shop, located in her home.
Mrs. Bofinger was a member of Whitesburg Methodist Church, Plumcreek Township, and the American Legion Auxiliary, Rural Valley.
Survivors include three sons, Alfred Wayne Kaplon of Hersey, Darrel James (Carol) Kaplon of Portland Mills, and Kent Kevin Sigler of New Stanton; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Ann (Alex) Grinchuk of Natrona Heights, Harrison; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Ridenhour of Rural Valley; and a sister, Helen Cessna of St. Augustine, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Stanley Kaplon; her second husband, James Sigler; her third husband, Harry Bofinger; her parents, John and Grace Graham Schall; three brothers, George Schall, and Boyd and Frank Ridenhour; and two sisters, Delnora Buckley and Jean Frailey.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the CARSON/BOYER FUNERAL HOME, Rural Valley, where a service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Officiating will be the Rev. Donald Rainey.
Burial will be in Whitesburg Presbyterian Cemetery, Plumcreek.
