Dies at Boulder Creek
Mrs. Melinda Katherine Bowmen,
whose home has been at Boulder
Creek for 42 years, died at a local
hospital Monday night following a
long illness.
She was born in Pulaski county,
Missouri, and moved to Boulder
Creek in 1887 where she was known
by all residing in that community.
Surviving her are the husband,
Hans Bowmen, and the following
children: Jack Wylie, Fort Bragg;
Abbie Mullen, Francisco; James
and Charles Wiley, Los Angeles;
Bert Wiley, Presidio, San Francisco;
Cusie Morgan, San Francisco, six
grandchildren and one great grand-
child.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday at 1:15 p. m. from Wes-
sendorf's mortuary, thence to Boul -
der Creek Methodist church with
services at 2 p. m.
