James E. Alexander, 81, of Guntersville died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Shepherd's Cove.
Mr. Alexander was born Feb. 26, 1931, in Marshall County to Leon and Lois Coker Alexander.
He retired from the United States Army after serving for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren and many loved ones.
A graveside service was at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, Brashier's Chapel Cemetery with Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
