Mrs. Burke was born in Boston and was a longtime resident of Marshfield. She attended Boston schools.
Wife of the late William E. Burke, she is survived by two sisters, Annie Nichols of Wellesley and Elinor "Lulla" Joyce of South Boston; a granddaughter, Marie Bruzzese of Marshfield; a great granddaughter, Tanya Bruzzese of Everett; and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Marie C. Smith and grandmother of the late Joseph Bruzzese.
