GREENVILLE - Funeral services for Pearline "Lean" Brown, 64, of Greenville will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Greater Hinds Street MB Church, Greenville. She died March 17, 2008, at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Redmon Funeral Home, Greenville.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy Walton of San Francisco, Calif.; a devoted, loving friend, Robert Smith; three grandchildren; seven sisters, Gladdie (Franklin) Stanford and Betty (David) Thomas, both of Greenville, Lee Anna Walton (Jerry Christian) of Metcalfe, Sarah (Melvin) McDavid, Bernice Walton and Elizabeth Dunning, all of Cincinnati, and Carrie Mae O'Nell of Seattle, Wash.; and six brothers, Lane (Bessie) Walton Jr. of Benoit, Levi Walton, James Walton and Cleo (Stephanie "Diane") Walton, all of Greenville, Abraham (Kim) Walton of St. Louis, Mo., and Sylvester Walton of New Jersey.
Visitation is today from 1 to 6 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home Chapel. Remains will lie in state at the church Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
Pastor Thomas Morris Sr. will officiate.
