Ray was born October 18, 1919 in Nashua, NH, son of Arthur and Maria Cabana. An 85 year resident of Tyngsboro, Ray was a truck driver for Sherburne Bros. Lumber Co., for many years, and served in the Army in World War II from 1944 until 1946.
Survivors include a son, Raymond and his wife, Anne-Marie of Merrimack, NH; three daughters, Pat Silva and husband, Dick, Lillian Lawson and husband, Dick, of Nashua, NH, and Joan Schettley and husband, Gene of Moorpark, CA; five grandchildren, Tammy Parent, Scott Cabana, Tony Cabana, Heather Danza, and Nicole Shanahan along with three great-grandchildren, Nathalie Parent, Lily Gonyea, and Kyra Shanahan.
He is also survived by two brothers, Wilfred and Roger, and three sisters, Beatrice Warriner, Theresa Cutter and Lorraine Cabana. He was predeceased by two brothers, Arthur and Bernie, and four sisters, Irene Bergeron, Yvette Lavoie, Rita Barry, and Lena Cote.
