Son of James & Ellen J. Alexander
On April 2ND 1902, little Earl Alexander age 4 years 9 months and 10 days, died of imflamation of the bowels.
He was reported to have suffered intense pain until death released his suffering. Mr. James E. Alexander and his wife Nelly Alexander the childs parents came from Ford County Illinois in February 1901. Since that time they have made their home, with Mr. Alexanders mother Margaret Alexander, seven mile west of Tonkawa Oklahoma.
Mr. and Mrs. Alexander wish to extend, through the News their thanks to their neighbors and friends who so kindley aided and assisted them in this their sad berevement.
"Oh how solemn is death, as we lean over the bed of our dying child and see the eyes grow glassy, the breath comes quick and short, and the heart that we so loved becomes silent forever, ears alone can express the anguish of our aching hearts".
