Obituary
Mrs. Walter R. Brown died at her home Thursday evening after a prolonged illness of several weeks. Mrs. Brown was born in Miss. and has been in Oklahoma about seven years, five of which were spent in Temple and the last two here. Mrs. Brown was an active worker in the M. E. Church South up till the time of her illness. Her husband is the senior member of the Brown & Harvey Hardware Co., of this city, and is left with three little bright-faced children to mourn the loss of their loved one. The funeral ceremony was held Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, at the church, being conducted by Rev. J. L. Taylor, who dwelt upon the beautiful life of Christian service that had been hers while here. The ceremony was concluded at the Eschiti Cemetery.
