Christian Rites Held Saturday
Funeral services for Albert Bascom Christian, 64, World War II veteran and carpenter, were held at the Trinity Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Saturday. Interment was in the Fannin Memorial Gardens with Cooper Funeral home directing.
Officiating at the services were the Rev. Joe Eubanks, pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church, and the Rev. Harry Ball, Fannin County Baptist missionary.
Mr. Christian was born July 16, 1903 at Ladonia, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. F. Christian. He was married to Miss Mary Lee Smith at Paris June 10, 1934. He was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors are his widow, five sons, two daughters, a sister and eight grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Ralph Pierson, Jack McElhannon, Dana Castell, Aubrey Conley, E. L. Stevens and Ted Lane.
