Samuel was the son of Aaron J (1828-1863) and Malinda Hamilton (1831-1924) Biddinger. He was first married to Isabella Lee (1857-1880)on March 22, 1876. They had two children; William A who was born in 1877 and Florence (1879-1879). After the death of Isabella he married Mary Ann Bennett (1847-1913). Mary Ann's parents were Major and Malinda Hagy Bennett

Mrs. Mary Biddinger, aged sixty five years, died at 10 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Adams, a mile and a half west of Sharpsville, with whom she
had been living for some time. Mrs. Biddinger was afflicted with a complication of troubles, having been an invalid for some time. She is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Adams, the husband dying about ten years ago. Mrs. Biddinger was the daughter of Major Bennett and wife, the parents being pioneers of the county, coming to this county from North
Carolina, the father dying twenty four years ago and the mother died about three years ago. There were ten children born into the family of the father of Mrs. Biddinger, seven living, they being Mrs. Henry Lowe, of Ozawkie, Kansas; William Bennett, of Tipton county; John Bennett, of Tipton, C.C. Bennett, also of this county; Mrs. W.H. Coleman, of Kokomo, Mrs. Agnes Keck, of Tipton county, and S.S. Bennett, of Indianapolis. Mrs. Biddinger resided on her eighty acre farm near Sharpsville until about ten years ago when she moved to Sharpsville. Nine years prior to her removal to Sharpsville, her husband died.Seven months ago Mrs. Biddinger was removed to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Adams, where she could have better care, Mrs. Adams being the only daughter.
