Dr. Samuel Blatt
Dr. Samuel Blatt, 65, a physician here for many years at the Veterans Hospital, died Wednesday in a Reno hospital.
A native of New York City, he had resided in Reno for 28 years.
He his survived by his widow, Mildred, in the family residence at 2490 W. Moana Lane; a daughter, Marcia Greer, in San Mateo, Calif., a son Bruce, in New York City; brothers, Joseph, of Washington, D.C., and Lionel, in New York City.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday in the Walton Funeral Home. Rabbi Elliott Burnstein, of San Francisco, will officiate.
Burial will be in the Hebrew Cemetery, in Reno.
