Q. Anthony "Red" Cavooto, 90, of Sudbury, Friday, Nov. 16, at Emerson Hospital in Concord. He began his career working on his father's livestock farm in Waltham and he retired at Fruehauf in Waltham as a Tractor Trailer technician. Born in Newton on Dec. 6, 1921, he was the son of the late Enrico and Maria (Russo) Cavooto and the husband of the late Rose (Battista). He was the father of Henry Cavooto and his wife, Julia, with whom he lived in Sudbury, and the late John Cavooto, the brother of Gemma Testa of Waltham, Fred Cavooto and his wife Gloria of Acton, and the late Helen Cannizzo, the grandfather of Johnny Cavooto of Sudbury and Jason Cavooto of Hudson and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother-in-law of the late Louis Cannizzo and David Testa. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at 9:00 AM from the Duckett - J. S. Waterman & Sons Home of Memorial Tribute, 656 Boston Post Road (Rte. 20), Sudbury, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Concord Rd., Sudbury at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in New Town Cemetery, Sudbury. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00PM-8:00PM at the funeral home.
