Alma Adams, 92, of Olney, died Thursday, May 25, 2006, in Olney Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services were Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at the Chapel of Lunn Funeral Home with the Rev. Claude Hendricks, pastor of the Olney Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment followed at the Restland Cemetery under the direction of Lunn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Adams was born Dec. 27, 1913, in Sapulpa, Okla., to the late Joseph B. and Bessie White Lynch. She attended school at Bitter Creek and Megargel. She and H.H. "Jack" Adams were married Nov. 9, 1935, in Graham. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She had lived in Archer and Young Counties most of her life.

She is survived by one son, Kerry Dale Adams of Olney; one daughter, Jackie Sue Robinson of Azle; three brothers, Winford Lynch of Baltimore, Md., Eddie Lynch of Eunice, N.M., and Carl Lynch of Hobbs, N.M.; four sisters, Leota Gilbert of Arlington, Lois Vaught of Albuquerque, N.M., Opal Mooneyham of Bowie and Charlene Mann of Anna; four grandchildren, Joseph McCormick, Numasta McCormick, Lindsay Robinson and Heather Robinson; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Elwin R., Jess and Frank Lynch; and three sisters, Garnet Otwell, Ruby Martin and Elsie Larue.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Assembly of God Church, P.O. Box 85, Olney, TX 76374.
