Amanda Dale Brown 21, died September 22, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center , Wichita.
She was born December 12, 1989 in Quincy, Illinois to Dale Alan and Elizabeth (Gaus) Brown.
A resident of Hutchinson for 2 and a half years, coming from Canton, Mo. she was a nursing student at Hutchinson Community College. She graduated from Canton High School class of 2008.
Survivors include; mother, Beth Thomas and husband Lee, Knob Noster,father, Dale Brown and wife Lini, Monticello, Mo. companion Anthony Almanza and his children, Marianna, Aj and Ava Almanza all of Hutchinson; two brothers, Cody Thomas, Knob Noster, Mo. and Zach Cottrel, Monticello, Mo.
grandparents, Clarence and Kay Gaus, Canton, Mo. Don and Dean Brown, Williamstown, Mo. and Sue Thomas, Knob Noster, Mo. and greatgrandmother, Virginia Brown, Canton, Mo.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, McKenzie Arbila Rae Almanza, great grandparents, George Otis Brown and Bryon and Muriel Dugger.'
Mc Kenzie Arbila Rae Almanza was stillborn September 21, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita.
Survivors include father. Anthony Almanza and siblings, Marianna, AJ and Ava Almanza, Hutchison, grandparents, Beth Thomas and husband Lee, Knob Noster. Dale Brown and wife Lini, Monticello Mo. Vincent Almanza and wife Mavis, Hutchinson, and Debora Crowley, Las Vegas N.V.
She was preceded in death by her mother Amanda Dale Brown
A visitation and funeral services was held Saturday September 24, 2011 at Elliot Mortuary in Hutchison, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held locally Tuesday September 27, 2011 at 2p.m. at Arnolds Funeral Home in Canton, with Rev. Ron Frazier officiating with burial in the Zion Hill Cemetery in Rural Monticello, Mo.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service at 2p.m. at Arnolds Funeral Home.
Music recorded selections; Amazing Grace, amd When I Get Where I'm Going.
Pallbearers; Wade Gaus, Levi Gaus, Josh Wilson, Toby Wilson, Josh Lee and Caleb Westbrook.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Amanda and to the March of Dimes in memory of McKenzie.
