DALLAS — Everette Avery Aderholdt, 84, 3302 Dallas-High Shoals Road, died June 5, 2002, at his residence.

He was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Gaston County, son of the late Arthur Earl Aderholdt and Lola Carpenter Aderholdt.

FUNERAL: St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Cherryville

INTERMENT: Church cemetery

He was retired after 35 years as a heavy equipment operator from the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Dallas, N.C.

Mr. Aderholdt was a lifetime member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church of Cherryville, N.C. where he served as a former Sunday School Teacher for many years.

Mr. Aderholdt also visited with friends on a daily basis at the Dallas Hardee's.

He was a veteran of WWII Pacific Theater, Army Corp Engineer.
