FORT WORTH, Texas Mr. Robert Allison Abernathy, 71, formerly of Grover, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, in Fort Worth, Texas, where he lived with his sister for 35 years.
Though he had Down syndrome, the family and friends that knew Mr. Abernathy loved him with his happy attitude and clever ways of everyday life. One other person Mr. Abernathy thoroughly enjoyed laughing and joking with was his late brother-in-law, Forrest Davis Jr., who died one year ago.
Mr. Abernathy is also preceded in death by his father and mother, Tom and Ren Abernathy of Grover. He was their only son.
Burial: Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fallston
