IRA 'Short'' BRADLEY, 83, of Proctorville, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2005, at home. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2005, at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Carl Black. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Proctorville, Ohio. He was born December 9, 1921, in Lawrence County, Ohio, to the late George and Mary Bradley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Bradley and five brothers and sisters, Chester Bradley, Hazel Jeffers, Gladys Fuller, Maggie Pine, and George W. Bradley. Short served in the Navy during World War II and retired from Houdaille Industries. He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Dave Collins of Proctorville; one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Pam Bradley of Proctorville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brandon and Casidy Bradley; three sisters, Mary 'Tug'' Bradley, Audrey Adkins and June Edwards and her husband Eddie, all of Proctorville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
