Lois, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. John Barnes, died Saturday night at half past nine o’clock and was buried Sunday evening. She was first taken with typhoid fever which terminated in brain fever. She lay on the very brink of death for more than two weeks, and it seemed that each day would be her last. Our hearts go out in sympathy to the stricken mother and father, and our greatest desire is that they may give their hearts to God and meet this precious flower where death and sickness are not known.
