Funeral services for Harvey A. Avery, 54, of 446 Ft. Hill Street, who died in a local hospital yesterday at 10:30 a.m. after two weeks' illness, will be held Friday in Memorial Chapel at 11 a.m., the Rev. James W. Waters officiating. Burial will be in Haddock Baptist churchyard.
Mr. Avery was born in Jones County, the son of Henry Booth and Eliza Bonner Avery. He was employed at Lake Sinclair and had been living in Macon for six years. He was a member of the [illegible] County.
He is survived by his widow, Katherine Avery, Macon; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Pulliam and Miss Dolly Avery, both of Macon; three sons, Harvey W., Mack G. and Thomas Avery, all of Macon; and four sisters, Mrs. Emma Brewer and Mrs. Viola Moore, both of Macon, Mrs. Eula Folendore, Milledgeville, and Mrs. Dolly Dubose, Smithville.
