Boston Rites Will Be Held Thursday
LEXTINGTON, Sept. 30 – (Special) – Funeral services for Mrs. J. D. Boston will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday at the Methodist church here. Burial will be at Shiloh cemetery, north of Lexington. Mrs. Boston, mother of three men in the armed services, died suddenly Saturday at her home here.
Rev. Dewey Etchison, Anadarko, will conduct the funeral services.
Mrs. Boston was born in the old Indian territory near White Bead Hill, February 14, 1874, later moving with her father’s family to Oklahoma in 1889. She was married to Mr. Boston, June 11, 1900.
Two Sisters, Mrs. Mary Rule, Norman and Mrs. Noah Boatright, Mission Tex, two brothers, Johnie Johnson, Marlow, and Jim Johnson, Duncan are included among the survivors.
Mrs. Boston also is survived by three stepdaughters, beside 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
