Manville J. "Andy" Anderson, 89, of Norwood, passed away, early Thursday morning, November 21, at Stanly Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00, Monday evening, November 25, 2013 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. Interment will be held at a later day in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Robbins, NC.

Mr. Anderson was born December 28, 1923 in Willow City, North Dakota to the late Harry Anderson and Hilda Miller Anderson.

He proudly served his country as a Cryptologist in the U. S. Air Force during World War II. He was the retired President of Burbank Moving & Storage. He was an active member of Pee Dee Lodge 150 and the Oasis Shrine. Andy enjoyed playing golf with friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Anderson and Don Anderson; grandchild, Alex Bramble.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline Howard Anderson of the home; son, Mark Anthony Bramble of Charleston, WV and daughter, Belinda Gay Becker of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Lauren Bramble and Brandon Becker.
