Aileen Charlotte (Stenson) Libby , 82, died June 6, 2009, in her home after a long illness.
She was born Jan. 17, 1927, in Bellingham, Mass., the daughter of the late Raymond J. and Lillian (Johnson) Stenson.
Members of her family include her children, Virginia L. Libby of Manchester with whom she resided, Barbara L. Espinola of Kingston, Richard G. Libby Jr. of Choctaw, Okla., Raymond M. Libby of West Point, Neb., and Janice E. Libby of Rhode Island.

IN HER LIFE: In addition, other family members include her son-in-law, Richard Espinola of Kingston; daughter-in-law, Leslie Libby of Choctaw, Okla., daughter-in-law, Karen Libby , of West Point, Neb.; 10 grandchildren, Jason, Christian, Michael, Daniel, Kevin, Jennifer and Alison Libby , Courtney and Jenna Espinola, and Ashley Cowell; two step-grandchildren of Oklahoma; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her close friends, Susan Labbe, Rob Thomas and Sean Noonan of Manchester, Paul and Ginny Brandis of Berwick, Maine. She had a very special bond with her great-grandson, Tyrone R. Libby of Manchester. Charlotte was predeceased by her husband, Richard; grandsons, Jeremiah John and Benjamin Thomas Libby . She was predeceased by her sisters, Evelyn Sheehan and Vera Banaghan; and brother, Raymond J. Stenson.

SERVICES: Cremation services are by Phaneuf Funeral Home, Manchester. A memorial service is Thursday at noon in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 10 Turner Ave., Riverside, R.I., followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston, R.I.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 501 N. Broadway, Shawnee, Okla. 74802; or to VNA Home & Hospice, 33 S. Commercial St., Manchester 03101.
