HICKORY GROVE -- K. L. Bankhead, 90, of Hickory Grove, died Monday, Jan. 14, 2008, at White Oak Manor in York.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
K. L. was the son of the late Kirby Lee Bankhead and Lillie Burnett Bankhead. He was the widower of Estelle Jones Bankhead, was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church in Gaffney, S.C., and was retired from F. C. X. (Famers Corperate Exchange).
He is survived by his son, Ted Bankhead of Sharon, S.C.; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his son, Dan Bankhead.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 15, 2008, at Bratton Funeral Home.
