Clifford Hillman Anderson, 82, of Richland Center, died Thursday, March 16, 1995, in the Richland Hospital, Richland Center, WI. He was born Sept 12, 1912 in a log house in Big Hollow in the town of Akan to Norwegian immigrant parents, Paul Anderson ,born in Gran, Hadeland and Dena Halvorson, born in Egersund.
Clifford was married June 11, 1938 in the Five Points Lutheran Church to the former Lina C. Goplen. He was a retired Richland County farmer and also worked at the Carnation Company for several years. He also worked in maintenance with the Richland School District for many years before his retirement. Clifford was an active member of Five Points Lutheran Church, serving several years on the church council.
Survivors include his wife, Lina C. Anderson of Richland Center; two sons, Paul (Joan Mutch) Anderson of La Crosse, WI and Ken (MaryAnne Treirweiler) of New Holstein, WI., a daughter, Lorraine (Jerry) Schaut of Menomonee Falls, WI.; seven grandchildren, Susan and Linda Anderson of La Crosse, Amy Anderson of Little Chute, WI, Kevin (Trina Schulde) Anderson of Oshkosh, WI, Wendy (Jeff) Shaw of Colorado Springs, CO., Brian Keller of Grafton, WI. and Dan Keller Eau Claire, WI.

Two sisters, Mabel Clanin of Richland Center and Pearl Pittenger of Beloit; a brother, Lee Anderson of Prairie du Sac; a sister- in- law, Berniece (Burris) Anderson of Richland Center; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clifford was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Minnie (John) Turnmire, Annie (Lee) Oleson, Helen (Oluf) Olson, Herbert Anderson and Caroline (Alfred)Harper.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 1995 in Five Points Lutheran Church, Five Points, WI. Rev. Oliver Vick officiated and burial was in Five Points Cemetery. Pratt Funeral Service assisted the family with their arrangements.
