Reba Epperly Barker, of Floyd (formerly of Blacksburg), passed from this life peacefully at home in the early morning hours of February 18, 2014. She was born June 8, 1924 to Annie Jones and William Dell Epperly. She was preceded in death by husband of 44 years, William Woodrow Barker; cherished great-nephew, Kevin Dewayne Early; brothers, Bob Epperly, Will Epperly, Drew Epperly; sister, Mae Epperly Kingrea; and dear friend Blanche Dickerson.
A member of North Fork Baptist church for 71 years and Sunday school teacher for many years, she was a faithful Christian as she showed in the love and example she set for all who knew her. She had a great love of all children that even as dementia took her memories she carried with her until the time of her death.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21, 2014, at 2 p.m. at North Fork Baptist Church, with Olen Gardner, Rebecca Pennington, and Fred Brugger officiating. Interment will follow in North Fork Cemetery. Arrangements by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg.
