Well Known Big Sandy Resident Died Saturday
Morris C. Arnold, a resident of Big Sandy since 1917, passed away at his home Saturday. He had been in poor health for the past couple years.
Mr. Arnold was born at Sacketts Harbor, New York, Nov. 27, 1894, and came to Montana in 1910 and made his home at Roundup, until moving to Big Sandy in 1917. He was a railroad telegrapher. He was a veteran of World War I.
He was married to Hazel Hatland, April 12, 1939, at Billings.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Irene Arnold of Fort Benton; a daughter, Marilyn Jean, and a son, Kenneth E., both of San Francisco; three sisters, Mrs. Ed W. Harris of Fort Benton, Mrs. Jay Warren of Ulm, and Mrs. Del Riggs of Conrad; two brothers, Roy of Boise and Gene of Great Falls.
Services are being held at the Big Sandy Methodist Church this Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Big Sandy Cemetery.
