Adolph Junior Bielfeldt, 86, Anchor, passed away at 9:15 am Wednesday (March 30,2011) at Heartland Nursing Home, Paxton.
His funeral was at 11:00 am at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, with vistitation one hour prior at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. The Rev. Stephen Goodwin officiated. The burial was at St. Johns Lutheran Church Cemetary, Anchor.
Junior was born Aug. 28, 1924, in Anchor, the son of Adolph and Wilhelmina "Minnie" Christina Hensen Bielfeldt. They preceded him in death.
He married Doris Reinhart on Jan. 13, 1946, in Colfax.
His children are: Alma (Gabi) Farran, Colfax; Paul Bielfeldt, Anchor; and Joyce (Terry) Hutchcraft, Gibson City; daughter-in-law, Barbara Bielfeldt, Gibson City; Grandchildren, John Bielfeldt, Kyle (Sarah) Bielfeldt, Jill Bielfeldt, Jill Bielfeldt, Nadia (Ben) Kelkamp, Brea (Travis) May and Lauren Hutchcraft; great-grandchildren, Makenzi and Macy Bielfeldt; sister, Velna Wichman, Melvin; and brother, Bob Bielfeldt, Anchor.
Junior was preceded in death by one son, Willard; Five brothers, F.G., Walter, Ralph, George and Lewis; sisters, Amanda Stiegman and Evelyn Salyards; and one grandchild, Maria Farran.
He was a lifelong farmer in the Anchor area.
Junior was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor, where he helped with Sunday school, was a member of the council and was a part of Brotherhood.
He was also a member of Mackinaw Drainage District and McLean County Fam Bureau.
Junior enjoyed dancing and travel.
