Owner of Austins of the Diamond, Londonderry. 1 Diamond & 2 Bishop Street, Londonderry. (Three Cheers for the Derrys!, by Gardiner S. Mitchell. Founded in 1830 by Thomas Austin, Glover's grandfather, Austins Department Store was run by seven generations of the family, until it was sold in 1976 to the Hasson family. Still in business, it is today "the world's oldest independent department store."
