Birth name was Jona Rubin Langman. Actual birth record exists. Son of Yudel Langman and Ida (Chaie Sore) Schub.His Declaration of Intention says that he immigrated to the Port of New York on February 15, 1904 from Hamburg, Germany of the vessel "Marion", Hamburg-American Line. This is probably incorrect -- there is no record in the Ellis Island database of either him or this ship. Husband of Celia Rabinowitz. Father of Edward Jay Langman, Benjamin N. Langman, Maurice B. Langman, and Rodella Langman Wolfson. Brother of Frank Longman, Hannah (Anna Lena) Langman Winker, Louis Longman, Jacob (Jake) Langman, Tillie Langman Siegel, and Mollie Langman Alpert. Hebrew name was Yonah Reuvin ben Yehuda. Tombstone inscription is "beloved husband and father."
