Dr. William Bramlett Allison Jr., 50, of 318 West Juniper Ave., Sterling, Va., died Sunday afternoon in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital, Bedford, after a short illness.
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine he was employed by the Food and Drug Administration, and was a veteran of the Korean War.
Born in Pulaski County, March 11, 1929, he was the son of the late William Bramlett Allison, Sr.
Surviving are his wife, Carole Williamson Allison; three sons, William B. Allison. Ill, and Drayton Lewis Allison, both of Richmond and James F. Allison, Blackstone, and one step-daughter, Carole Virginia Gunn, Sterling. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. W.B. (Kate) Allison Sr., Pulaski; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Mitchell Powell, Elkins, W. Va., and Mrs. Katherine Pratt Chilton, Union Hall, Va., and one brother, Charles Murray Allison, Bedford.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. In the Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church cemetary with the Rev. Hallett Hullinger officiating. In lieu of flowers the family Suggests memorials to favorite charity. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. this evening at Stevens
