Maude Friend Armbrister, 91, of Draper, died early this morning, Sept. 2, 1994 in the Pulaski Community Hospital
Born July 4, 1903 in Wythe County, she was the daughter of the late William Allison and Martha Archer Friend.
She was a longtime active member of the Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Wesley Armbrister, and one son, Philip Armbrister.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, George W. and Ann L. Armbrister and David L, and Patra E. Armbriater, all of Draper, four daughters and one son in-law, Catherine A. Farrell of Evanston, 111., Margaret A. May of Wadsworth, Ohio, Janet Armbrister of Draper and Clara Mae and Paul Smith of Roanoke; 10 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Draper's Valley Presbyterian Church with the Rev, Preston O. Sartelle Jr. officiating. Burial will be the Draper's Valley Prebyterian Church Cemetery; The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski. Stevens Funeral Home Inc., Pulaoki, is in charge of arrangements.
