Thank you to macpw, for sharing the following information:

I have researched this family since John Berry is a direct ancestor. He was born 1757 in North Carolina. I also have a picture of the grave stone if there is a way to send it.

Will: "Last Will and Testament of John Berry of Effingham. Co., dated Aug. 18, 1817; probated Sept. 1, 1817. Devises to his wife Mary his whole estate for her lifetime as a support for her and their two youngest children Benajah and Obediah. After her death he directs the personal property except the Negroes, be sold and proceeds divided between said sons and their daughter Salome and his grandchildren Maria and Louisa Metzger (children of Naomi, late wife of John Metzger.) After wife's death, slaves to be hired out until the children arrive of age and then be divided between them including the said Salome, wife of Emanuel Rahn. All real estate to go to the said two sons. Executors: Emanuel Rahn, Benajah Berry, Gottlieb Ernst. Witnesses: Ephriam Kieffer, John Exley." (p. 336)

(I just read the tombstone of John B Berry as 71 years, etc. John's tombstone reads: 60th day of his life. Anyway, could you add the dob of 1757? Thanks.)
